The Facecam Neo is an ideal entry into high-quality video. Its 26mm focal length is perfect for a desktop setup, and the autofocus keeps you sharp as you move. The easy-slide shutter adds privacy, while the plug-and-play function means no fiddly drivers—just connect and look your best.
In OBS, create a new Video Capture Device and select 'Elgato Facecam Neo'. Set the resolution to 1920x1080 and the frame rate to 60 FPS. You can also adjust white balance and exposure in OBS filters for optimal image quality.
HDR is automatically enabled by default. If you're using the Elgato Camera Hub software, you can toggle HDR on/off under the Device Settings. HDR requires a compatible operating system and application support.
The Facecam Neo connects via USB-C, so it works with devices that support UVC (USB Video Class), including certain consoles, but it's primarily designed for computers and streaming setups.
