Plan Your Hydro X Loop

Start with a compatible CPU and GPU water block, then pick a pump, radiator, fittings, and tubing. Prices vary: fittings start at $12, while a pump can cost up to $99. Measure your case for radiator space (120/240/360mm) and decide on soft vs. hard tubing. Our Hydro X loop planning tool helps you select the right components and ensure compatibility.

How do I choose Hydro X fittings?

Match the fitting size to your tubing (e.g., 10/13mm). Also consider the threading (G1/4) and whether you need angled fittings for tight runs. Start with straight fittings and use 90° or 45° as needed.

How do I fill and maintain a Hydro X loop?

Fill the loop slowly with coolant, power the pump via a separate PSU jumper until bubbles dissipate, then top off. Drain and replace coolant every 6-12 months to prevent algae and corrosion.

What is the Hydro X pump settings in iCUE?

In iCUE, you can control the pump speed based on coolant temperature. Set a fan curve to optimize noise and cooling. The XD5 pump also supports RGB customization.
