Needed a wired connection for my laptop. Plugged it in, it worked instantly. Speed is limited to 100 Mbps but that's expected with USB 2.0. Good for basic browsing.

I use this for my Switch to get a stable internet connection for online gaming. It works flawlessly, no disconnects. The adapter is small and doesn't heat up much. Definitely recommend for Switch players.

I installed it on a Windows 7 PC and had to manually install the driver from the included CD (which I had to find an external drive for). Once installed, it worked fine. But if you're on an older system, be prepared to hunt for drivers. On my newer laptops it was plug-and-play.
