The Fanatec CSL Cockpit V1.5 is a compact yet robust simulator rig built to handle high-force direct drive wheelbases and load cell pedals. Its steel-reinforced aluminum frame delivers rigidity without excessive weight, ensuring stability during the most intense races. The universal wheelbase mounting bracket offers two height options, stepless adjustability for angle and distance, and can be inverted for a karting position.
Designed for GT driving, the cockpit suits various motorsport disciplines including GT, Oval, Drift, and Rally. The pedal plate supports all Fanatec pedals and many other major brands, and can withstand the forces of load cell brakes. Cable management is built-in with tube caps, and a range of optional accessories lets you expand your rig.
Assembly is straightforward with included tools and clear instructions. The frame uses sturdy connectors and pre-drilled holes for quick setup. Start by attaching the base, then install the wheelbase mount and pedal plate. Adjust to your preferred driving position before tightening everything down.
The pedal plate adjusts angle and distance to suit your comfort. It handles high forces from load cell brakes without flex, giving you consistent braking performance.

This cockpit is incredibly sturdy. I'm a bigger guy, and it doesn't flex at all even with my direct drive wheel. Assembly took a couple of hours but the instructions were clear. Definitely feels like a professional rig.

It's a good rig, but I expected a bit more for the price. The seat slider is a bit stiff, and the frame has a few sharp edges. Also, the instructions could be clearer – I had to watch a video to figure out the pedal plate. It works well now, though.

Very good cockpit. The aluminum frame is lightweight but strong. I only wish the pedal plate was a bit more angled. I added a small wedge to fix it. Otherwise, it's a great base for my sim setup.
