No, you can connect them directly to a motherboard 5V ARGB header. For advanced iCUE features, a controller is recommended.
Yes, you can chain multiple strips sequentially to light longer cable runs, as long as you don't exceed the ARGB header's current limit.
Yes, the included clips accommodate various PSU cable widths, including 24-pin, 8-pin, and SATA cables.

The strips look great once installed, but bending the silicone tubes around the cables can be fiddly. The lighting effects in iCUE are smooth and vibrant. Took a while to get them positioned just right.
These add a beautiful diffused glow to my PSU cables. They plug directly into the 5V ARGB header, and iCUE controls them seamlessly. The flexible tubes are easy to shape. A must-have for RGB enthusiasts.
The lighting is okay, but I thought it would be more eye-catching. The strips are flexible, but they don't stick to the cables well; I had to use zip ties. Still, the iCUE integration is nice.
I installed these on my white PSU cables, and the effect is stunning. The colors are true and the diffused light is even. The 100 LEDs per strip are plenty. Easy to set up and control with iCUE.
The strips themselves are great, but the connectors are a bit flimsy. I had to be careful not to bend them too much. But once connected, they work flawlessly and add a lot to the case aesthetics.
These strips really elevate the look of the build. They are well-made and the lighting is vibrant. The only downside is that they are a bit pricey for what they are. But if you want that clean, attached-to-cable RGB look, these are the way to go.
